Phil shows how to apply Biketape to a frame using the wet application method. This is great for big bits of tape as it lets you reposition the tape and makes it easier to work with.

For smaller pieces, the standard dry application is fine.

Available in 1 metre or 2 metre packs. The 5cm tape is great for narrow tubing and is very easy to apply. Use it in strips cut to length to protect the facing sides of narrow tubes. It’s perfect for cutting into small pieces to protect from cable rub around the headtube for example.

7.5cm wide Biketape is available in either 1 metre or 2 metre packs.

This is a versatile size allowing total coverage of some frame tubing or allowing you to cover the facing edge of tubing (e.g. the bottom of the downtube).

10cm Biketape is available in 1 metre and 2 metre packs.

A great choice for many frames, this will allow a great deal of coverage. The best choice for many mountain bike frames.

Available in 1 metre or 2 metre packs, 15cm wide Biketape is espescially suitable for bikes with extra large tubing or for swingarms on particular frames (e.g. Orange).

Clean the surface area well, ideally with degreaser – but make sure no cleaning product is left on the frame.
